Hadleigh offers a wide range of amenities including a range of independent shops, restaurants and cafes. There are public houses, good health care facilities, a library and schools. There is a regular bus service to and from Ipswich which has a mainline rail station with direct trains to London, Norwich and Cambridge.

The Duke

The beautiful Constable Country is not far away and Sudbury, another large and popular town is less than half an hour’s drive away. Colchester, a historic former town (now a city) is the oldest recorded town in Britain and only half an hour’s drive away.

The Timeline

Plot 5 (The Crest) is now complete as our View Home for the development, showcasing the superior quality and finish of our new homes.

Selected other homes are available for you to reserve off-plan enabling you to become involved in selecting your finishes (such as kitchen, floor and wall coverings etc, from our range).  If you’re in a position to commit early, this is an exciting opportunity for you to turn your new build property into the home of your dreams.

We are hoping the development will be fully complete late 2026/early 2027.

The Homes

These contemporary new homes are built to Landex’s usual high specification. The homes all benefit from private south-easterly facing gardens. This new neighbourhood provides a perfect environment in which to relax and call home.

With Landex New Homes, you’ll find that many items often classed as ‘extras’ are already included. We like to deliver a finished product so all you have to think about when you move in is where to put your furnishings and how to dress your windows!

The Crest

With every property the emphasis is on keeping maintenance to a minimum to allow the homeowner more time to enjoy all the benefits of modern living.

All homes are traditionally constructed with brick. The LINIAR UPVC double glazed windows & external doors are finished in light grey (externally) and white (internally).

Soffits, fascias barge boards and rainwater goods are colour coordinated in maintenance-free materials.

The Manor

All homes are fitted with cottage style composite front doors with multipoint locks. Ample private off-road parking is provided to all homes and every property also has a garage (some are double) with an electric remotely operated door.

Electric Vehicle Charging Points are also provided. We’re also including the infrastructure for PV (solar) panels, making it easy for you to add these at any point in the future (or during the course of construction if you reserve off-plan).  Acoustic ventilation fans and acoustic window trickle vents are fitted in each of the front-facing rooms to increase airflow inside the home whilst keeping any noise out.

Rear gardens have generous patio areas and footpaths. They are turfed with a mulched border – ready for you to plant once you move in. An external tap and double electric socket are provided, conveniently located and to make life easier for you when you’re pottering around doing errands or just enjoying the garden!

Inside, you’ll find underfloor heating to the ground floor (houses have radiators to first floor) with heating supplied by high efficiency Samsung Air Source Heat Pumps.

The Neighbourhood

Castlefields is a south-facing development, just a 15-minute stroll from Hadleigh’s town centre. The town has an excellent range of shops, supermarkets, butchers, bakeries and florists. There are parks and recreation grounds, a swimming pool and leisure centre along with several sports and social clubs. Hadleigh is surrounded by beautiful countryside and walking routes, with many outdoor activities available.
